So I know rainwear WAM is kind of a niche within a niche. I know there are people who specifically like the combination of rainwear and WAM, and in fact I am one of them.
Many wammers aren't into rainwear because it's made to get wet, it protects your 'normal' clothes, etc. But for me, that's part of what makes it so exciting. I like rainwear that's meant to be sort of fashionable, brands like Rains and Stutterheim that sell quite expensive raincoats, or Hunter for wellies. These clothes are made to shield you from water, so you can always keep a sort of 'hip' and 'fresh' look, even in the rain. But when you get covered in mess or mud, that fashionable aesthetic is destroyed and it becomes just another piece of fabric that doesn't stand a chance against the copious amounts you're throwing at it. And once you get deep into mud or water, or when you start to fill your rainwear with mess, that promise of keeping dry underneath is totally ridiculed as every part of your rainwear, even the inside, and everything you're wearing underneath gets totally soaked in seconds. On top of that, I also love how the fabric is smooth yet has a certain stiffness to it, and when you're lying in the mud, you feel the coolness and the texture of the mud against the rainwear, and when you move around the fabric moves with you but with resistance as it's surrounded on all sides by thick, sloppy mud. It feels just a bit different from normal clothes, which just absorb the mud, and in a sense makes you even more aware that there's mud all around you.
I don't know, I just find that really hot. How many people here actually love raincoats or rainboots with their WAM? Also, don't hesitate to share your feelings or experiences too!

I understand that way of thinking, I think rainwear can be cute too. When a girl has a raincoat on it kind of has the same effect as an oversized shirt, where her whole upper body just becomes the shape of the raincoat. And when it's messy, it also becomes a bit floppy - I was just looking back at this picture I made yesterday. You can see my raincoat got sort of twisted because I was just rolling in the mud! Lol
Hi i love dressing and messing my nylon overalls which is quite similar to rainwear in as much as the overalls are designed to keep "normal " clothes clean but i find that clothing that,s for that purpose should be messed and it hasn,t stopped me sploshing for many years. Also like rainwear which i also find sexy they are easily washed off in the shower afterwards.

Couldn't agree more! What's the point if they don't get messy!
I have a fetish with yellow raincoats for a long time, I think the origin is in tv shows that I saw when I was a kid where the participants wear they while they get gunged. Recently I bought this one in asos ( I want a Stutterheim but are very expensive) and I use for the first time under the shower, the next time probably I get messy with it.
